SPENGLER HAS UNMASKED HIMSELF TO WORK AS EDITOR OF CATHOLIC "FIRST THINGS"

I have been a huge fan of the masked writer, Spengler, at the Asia Times. I often linked to his articles which were so very insightful and to be frank--very Catholic in nature--even though I suspected him to be Jewish. I had attempted research to identify who the man was behind the Spengler pseudonym--to no avail.

To my great surprise and delight, I recently discovered that he had unveiled himself in an article entitled: "And Spengler is...". He is David P. Goldman and he has revealed his true identity in order to take on the position of Associate Editor at First Things (www.firstthings.com).

Now I don't know if Mr Goldman has yet become a Catholic but I am confident that he will eventually find the Church irresistible.
