From Lifenews: "The White House is not happy with the millions of Americans who oppose the pro-abortion government-run health care plan Congress is considering. In a new post on the White House web site, Obama administration officials ask people to become tattletales on groups and people who oppose the health care bill.
"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end-of-life care," the White House says. "These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain e-mails or through casual conversation."
"Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help. If you get an e-mail or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to email@example.com," the Obama web site says.
I beg you to please be a snitch for Truth and flood the "prince of this world" and his diabolically disoriented minions with biblical quotes, papal encyclicals, and photographs of aborted babies. Mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org
"Pro-life groups have created this climate through language and attacking those of us who are pro-choice for being killers," said the Rev. Carlton W. Veazey, president of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.
"Doing so, they set the stage for anybody who thinks that this is murder to put this in their own hands to commit murder. ... They set the framework because they demonize those of us in the pro-choice movement."
And this from Rueters:
"But some supporters of abortion rights have long argued that the language used by opponents — with terms such as murder, blood-stained, destroy or holocaust frequently evoked — create an atmosphere that fosters violence."
Pro-abortionists ignore the fact that the value of human life in America has been decimated due to the acceptance of abortion itself. Our culture has become a culture of death which formally began through the acceptance and legalization of contraception and abortion. When a society legally permits the killing of innocent life its entire foundation is shaken and the rule of law is undermined. That is what killed Tiller and that is what will ultimately destroy our nation.
So eventually they will likely outlaw truthful speech about abortion. Any such talk will be seen as hate-speech and a violation of a woman's "health care rights". Never mind the explicit constitutional rights to life and liberty--the judicially created right to slaughter innocent children for the sake of convenience trumps all.
Personally, I think Randall Terry, founder of the pro-life group Operation Rescue stated it best:
“George Tiller was a mass-murderer. We grieve for him that he did not have time to properly prepare his soul to face God,”
From dailymail: "Babies exposed to high levels of testosterone in the womb have a higher risk of developing autistic traits, research has revealed.
The link to the male hormone could provide a way to test unborn babies for the condition and has added a new dimension to the debate about the ethics of screening.
In testing of the mother's hormone levels, Prof Baron-Cohen, of Cambridge University, said the children did not have a diagnosis of autism but the research had found a correlation between testosterone produced by the unborn babies and the number of traits displayed.
But he added: ‘Our ongoing collaboration with the Biobank Read More...
"I am Lucy, one of the young nuns raped by the Serbian soldiers. I am writing to you, Mother, after what happened to my sisters Tatiana, Sandria, and me.
Allow me not to go into the details of the act. There are some experiences in life so atrocious that you cannot tell them to anyone but God, in whose service I had consecrated my life nearly a year ago.
My drama is not so much the humiliation that I suffered as a woman, not the incurable offense committed against my vocation as a religious, but the difficulty of having to incorporate into my faith an event that certainly forms part of the mysterious will of Him whom I have always considered my Divine Spouse.
Only a few days before, I had read "Dialogues of Carmelites" and spontaneously I asked our Lord to grant me the Read More...
From mailonline: "Doctors could lose their right to refuse to arrange abortions under proposals to be debated next month.
They would be compelled to send any woman requesting the procedure to an abortion clinic.
The growing number of doctors who have moral objections to abortion - 25 per cent refuse to sign consent forms for it - are furious with the proposal.
Some are considering legal action if, as expected, the move is ratified by the British Medical Association's policy-making body in July.
Roman Catholic doctors are particularly opposed to the move, saying it will make them complicit in something they believe is evil, but doctors of other faiths and no faith have also condemned it.
Dr Tony Cole, of the Catholic Medical Association, said: 'This would spell the death of Read More...
From Telegraph: "An artist killed herself after aborting her twins when she was eight weeks pregnant, leaving a note saying: "I should never have had an abortion. I see now I would have been a good mum."
"Emma Beck was found hanging at her home in Helston, Cornwall, on Feb 1 2007. She was declared dead early the following day - her 31st birthday.
"Her suicide note read: "I told everyone I didn't want to do it, even at the hospital. I was Read More...
I suppose this comes as a surprise to those who are in denial of the evils of abortion but the world's leading expert on fetal pain at the University of Arkansas has concluded that babies in the womb can feel pain from an early stage of development. Such a finding may impact an upcoming vote regarding abortion in the U.K. which could ultimately tighten abortion laws and reduce the time limits to obtain an abortion.
From Telegraph.co.United Kingdom: "Prof Sunny Anand of the University of Arkansas will present his report into foetal pain to MPs discussing changes to abortion law on Monday night.
His research concludes that the part of a baby's brain that can feel pain develops before the legal abortion limit of 24 weeks.
It is the first time the abortion laws will have been reviewed in the Commons for nearly two decades.
Prof Stewart Campbell is also on the panel. He pioneered the use of 4D screening, which produces striking images of a baby in the womb.
Nadine Dorries, the Conservative backbencher and former nurse, will chair the Read More...
THE WAR ON THE CATHOLIC CONSCIENCE--PORTUGUESE GOVERNMENT ISSUES ULTAMATUM TO DOCTORS WHO REFUSE TO PERFORM ABORTIONS
From Rueters: LISBON, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Portuguese doctors have rejected a government ultimatum to remove an ethical ban on performing abortions after this deeply Catholic country approved Read More...
The Court of Human Rights today confirmed Poland will have to pay compensation to a woman whose vision became impaired after being denied an abortion under Polish laws.
Poland had appealed an order to pay the woman 25,000 euros compensation and 14,000 euros in legal fees.
But the Court ruled that in refusing to allow an abortion, Poland had violated article 8 of the Convention on Human Rights.
As a traditionally Roman Catholic nation, Poland has one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the European Union. Women are permitted to terminate pregnancies only if the pregnancy poses a grave health risk, the foetus is severely deformed or the pregnancy is a result of rape.
As Alisa Craddock recently pointed out in Bellocution II the Death of Reason Malcolm Muggeridge once stated: "It took no more than three decades to transform a war crime into an act of Read More...
